For the past 33 years in Lawrence KS the Kansas Fiddling & Picking Championships were held in South Park August 25, 2013. This was the first time I experienced the 33rd Kansas Fiddling & Picking Championship and will plan on attending the 34th! Great music, plenty of food and the crowd was tapping their feet to the wonderful music. Very family fun oriented.
